Overview
During Navratri the temple observes a nine-day sequence of worship, with daily puja, mantra jaap and a concluding havan on Ashtami or Navami according to the devotee's sankalp.
Devotee sankalps are taken through all nine days, and many families observe this annually.
Traditional significance
Navratri is traditionally regarded as the most auspicious period for Devi worship, and Ashtami is particularly observed at Baglamukhi peeths.
