Shatru Nashak Baglamukhi Mantra
Maa Baglamukhi presides over the stambhan shakti (power of paralysis/stillness) among the Ten Mahavidyas — a divine energy traditionally believed to stambhit (silence, immobilise) enemies, opponents, court cases and unjust obstacles. This page presents the mantras, method and precautions.

Jaap Rules and Precautions
- Wear yellow (peet) clothing and use a haldi (turmeric) mala of 108 beads.
- Chant on Tuesday and Thursday, on Ashtami tithi, or during Navratri.
- Perform jaap during Brahma Muhurat (4:00–6:00 AM) or late night (10:00 PM–4:00 AM).
- Bathe and take sankalp (stating name, gotra and intention) before beginning jaap.
- Observe celibacy (brahmacharya) and a sattvic diet during the sadhana.
- Never chant with intent to harm anyone — use only for self-defence and justice.
Caution: Baglamukhi's stambhan energy is believed to be extremely powerful. Jaap done with unjust intent is said to rebound upon the sadhaka. The maha-mantra and mool mantra should be chanted only at a Siddhpeeth under an acharya's guidance.
Common questions
Which mantra is traditionally used for protection from enemies?
The Baglamukhi Beej mantra ॐ ह्लीं बगलामुख्यै नमः is the one most commonly chanted daily. The 36-syllable mool mantra is traditionally taken up only under an acharya's guidance.
Can I chant the Baglamukhi shatru-nashak mantra at home?
The Beej mantra can be chanted at home with purity and a clear sankalp. For the mool mantra, ask an acharya first about the method and the number of jaap.
How many times should the mantra be chanted?
One mala (108 jaap) a day is the common practice. Larger anushthans of 36,000 to 1,25,000 jaap can be arranged with Acharya Rajguru Ji in Nalkheda; ask on WhatsApp.
Is chanting a shatru-nashak mantra safe?
Tradition teaches that it is chanted for self-protection and justice, never to harm anyone. No result is guaranteed; please continue legal or professional advice where it applies.
